It is with very heavy hearts and immense sadness that we confirm our World Champion racehorse and dominant dual hemisphere stallion American Ideal passed away in Australia yesterday (January 29th 2024).

Lather Up was a speed machine from a 2-year-old to the time he retired at four. His first yearlings are on offer in the Southern Hemisphere.

Sweet Lou was the siring change the industry needed. A game changer, being an outcross sire has mixed things up and made breeders and buyers think outside the square.

Downbytheseaside was a star on the track and he is now leaving his mark as sire.

The Woodlands Stud yearling draft for 2023 will parade onsite for prospective buyers at NZB Standardbred’s Karaka Sales Grounds this Saturday (February 18th) at 3pm.
