From the very beginning, Speeding Spur raced at the elite level. A nine-time Group 1 winner, he consistently defeated the best square-gaiters of his generation. Few trotters can claim a career that was brilliant from start to finish – but Speeding Spur can.

CROSSES OF GOLD

Following in his father’s footsteps, Speeding Spur fits well into the Australasian market and is able to be crossed with a number of mares.

ARNDON - A large portion of our trotting mares are by Sundon so it is great that they can be crossed with Speeding Spur. Mares by DREAM VACATION are also from this line and able to be crossed with him.

GARLAND LOBELL - Sires from this line are a likely match for Speeding Spur. Sires such as ANGUS HALL, MAJESTIC SON, MONKEY BONES and ANDOVER HALL will all cross well with him.

OTHERS - It is still early days so in time we are likely to see some trends develop for the likes of ARMBRO INVASION, LOVE YOU and sires from the SUPER BOWL line are also likely to be popular crosses.
